My name is Nimisha Das I was born in Christian family... But never knew personally who God is. I did graduation without knowing God. I was going to Sunday School Church Meetings but never prayed to God. Actually I dint know to pray and if anyone call my name to pray then next time I quit myself going to that meeting.
My mummy accepted Jesus as her personal savior and in family friction Started because soon after my younger brother accepted Jesus as personal savior at the age of 18 and took Baptism. My father become very angry on mummy and family divided in two divisions’ believer and non believer.
Mum and bro were attending their church and we were criticizing them. I love my bro very much and I dint want to lose him. When he started reading Bible and sitting for prayer I use to be very upset and thinking now I lost my only bro why he is not sitting with us like before.
One day he asked me to go his church I said no you are not right people, then he said today am going to give my testimony in front of church I would like to take you with me because I loved him so much I went with him and listened hid testimony. I thought what happened to him from where he got wisdom to speak such a nice way and was so upset again.
After few days he asked me again to come in his meeting I said ok let the day come I’ll think upon it. He was 18yrs. I was 23yrs. Again he asked one day I said no... Then one day he came home and told me there is a dead body of a girl in our street end would u like to see her I was afraid and said no never then he told some dogs had eaten her flesh. Might be somebody had thrown her body at night and ran away I said don’t talk this to me and I don’t want to see her body whole day his voice was coming there is a dead body.
Next day he requested me again to attend the meeting I said ok let me see what's going on your meeting I wanted to see and I went with him it was 300 km from home and was 3days meeting I was so surprised when I met those people. All were like my mom and Bro so loving and helpful and happy people I thought which type of People are they. Even then I disliked them why are they loving and helping me I was shocked my bro was continually watching me.
It was Bro Shekhar Nand's meeting he announced to take care of us (we both sis) when I heard his preaching. It was like someone is beating on my heart and I thought what is happening to me. When I opened my Bible I got verses Col.2:7 ... Oh no what is this, this verse is talking with me I thought which type of book is this again I got Col.2:6... no this is not true I don’t believe and I closed Bible because my ego not accepting that I m wrong and my mom n bro are correct.
My life was becoming uneasy day by day. I came home with great sorrow how could I accept that am wrong but my mom was happy they both understood my situation and started praying for me and I started to go to their church.
One Sunday I was sitting in prayer I heard "this place is not for u go out from here" and I crossed many people and came out of the church and sat and cried loudly what happened to me my all cousins my bro, came out gave me lots of verses and said come inside... I said no a m ok here... then one small girl(cousin) came and asked your heart is beating so quickly I said yes exactly she said Jesus is knocking in your door I said what? She said yes he is calling you come on give your testimony I said no I don’t know how to speak she said you won’t speak holy Spirit 'will speak inside you I said no I don’t want to give testimony she said if you won’t you will feel uneasy and devil will win your life come and open your mouth.
I came and got verses Mark 4:40 and Phil.4:6-8 and then 1st John 2:13 and felt the presence of Lord and Holy spirit came I realized to know the depth of John 3:16 and told my testimony and I saw Jesus was taking my cross and he bent due to the heaviness of my sin I heard voice see Jesus is bent because of your sin and he is taking it in his shoulder and not only he is taking but after he 'll die for you on same cross to give u new life I cried loudly and came to know Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and came to save my life he gave me life after death. I remembered many times I heard His voice and I ignored and lived in world.
How loving the Lord is Jesus Christ entered in my heart and I feel now Jesus Christ is with me who is giving me power to speak and Jesus Christ is inspiring me to love, forgive and to talk people about Jesus Christ proudly that Jesus Christ is ALIVE.
Oh now Jesus Christ is with me... Thank God my life changed now Jesus Christ will live with me wherever I go.
Jesus Christ being with me It was so excited but other side why Jesus Christ gave his life for a sinner like me and tears were not stopping
This way first time I realized that I was not a Christian even by taking birth in Christian family and by following the rituals.
Jesus Christ taught me to be in Christ and by his grace I become a CHRISTIAN
